AI live chat, from zero to live

No coding knowledge needed. Follow these steps in order and your website answers visitors 24/7 in about 10 minutes.

What it is

A chat button on your website. Visitors type a question (prices, hours, delivery…) and an AI answers in seconds, in every language (it always replies in the language the visitor writes, translating your facts), using only the facts you wrote. When it doesn't know, it gives them your contact instead of guessing.

The 5 steps

1. Log in at lyxvo.ai and open Live chat in the menu on the left.
2. Business tab: write your business name and the facts the assistant should know (use an example if you're not sure).
3. Add your website domain, for example yourshop.com, and press Save.
4. Look tab: choose colours, title, logo, button and quick questions; the preview shows the result.
5. Copy the one line of code and paste it on your website (see where below). Done.

Writing the business facts

The AI answers only from this text, so the better it is, the better the answers. Write it the way you'd brief a new employee: short lines, real numbers, no marketing fluff. Cover:

• What you sell and the prices
• Address, area served and opening hours
• How to order or book, and how to pay
• Delivery or shipping, returns, requirements
• The questions customers ask you most, with the answers

Example (a café). Replace everything in [brackets]:

Making it look like your website

In the Look tab you set the chat title and subtitle, your logo (an https image link), the colour, light or dark theme, a round icon or a button with text, the size, up to 4 quick questions, the corner (left or right), the distance from the edges and the roundness. Keep it on the opposite side of other floating buttons, such as WhatsApp.

Your domain (required, for your safety)

The chat answers only on the websites you list, plus their subdomains (shop.com also covers www.shop.com and blog.shop.com). If someone copies your code to another site, the chat stays silent there, so nobody can use up your conversations. We check that each domain really exists when you save. Until you add a domain, the chat works only in the preview on lyxvo.ai.

Where to paste the code

Every website gets the same single line. Put it once, right before </body>, on every page (most builders have one place that covers all pages):

Appearance → Theme File Editor → footer.php before </body>, or a plugin like WPCode → Footer.

Shopify

Online Store → Themes → Edit code → theme.liquid, before </body>.

Wix

Settings → Custom code → Add code → Body - end, all pages.

Squarespace

Settings → Advanced → Code injection → Footer.

Webflow

Site settings → Custom code → Footer code, then publish.

Blogger

Theme → Edit HTML, paste before </body>, save.

Google Tag Manager

New tag → Custom HTML, paste the code, trigger: All Pages.

Frameworks and server languages

The chat runs in the visitor's browser, so in any framework or server language you only output this script tag in your main layout. Replace YOUR_WIDGET_ID with the id shown in your dashboard.
